Our story and team

Katja opened her first fitness club in 2018 and since then has been committed to developing fitness services to meet the changing needs of her customers. We have both been in the industry for a long time and have known each other for a decade. We found that our shared passion for developing fitness clubs, delivering quality fitness services and the courage to bring new concepts to the market made us the perfect team. We share the same vision of what the future of fitness can be and together we want to make it a reality. Together, we decided to create Ole.Fit Vallila, a fitness club that not only meets the expectations of today's customers, but also continuously evolves and offers innovative and inspiring workout experiences one step ahead. Fit Revolution was born.

The Ole.Fit Vallila concept is new and there is nothing like it in Finland. Ole.Fit Vallila is a new age gym that also takes guided classes to a whole new level. We believe in the magic of group training, but we want to modernise the traditional way of doing it for today. Our guided classes are carefully designed to support our members' other workouts, wellbeing and goals. Our passion is to help people move in a more varied and smarter way, so that everyone can achieve their best on their own terms and at their own pace.

Our unique concept is implemented with us by an amazing team of professional coaches who are dedicated to supporting our members' wellbeing and goals. Each coach brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, allowing for a holistic approach and a diverse training programme. Ole.Fit Vallila coaches not only guide workouts, but inspire and motivate our customers to get results and enjoy the journey. This community is the force that makes Ole.Fit Vallila more than just a gym.

Katja Kaila

In my work, I combine education in sports medicine, coaching, management and the commercial field, so that people can  live healthier, happier and more vibrant life. I have been a fitness center entrepreneur since 2018, before that I have worked in various fitness centers as a club manager, marketing and development manager, in sales, customer service, as a coach and instructor since 1999. I also have international experience, and I have followed the development of the sports industry globally for a long time. I tend to think outside the box and I am inspired by creating new things, continuous learning, working together and seeing clients being motivated, successful, gaining more self-confidence and enjoying training!

By exercising regularly, I affect my own well-being holistically: when I exercise, I also eat healthier and sleep better - it's a positive vicious circle where everything affects everything. Exercise is also a wonder drug for the mind; movement is an important way for me to manage stress, to become empowered and reset my head in the middle of everyday life.

Sports and fitness has always been a significant part of my life. It was this passion that led me to my first role in the fitness industry over 15 years ago, working in sales at a ladies' gym in Helsinki. From that moment, I knew I had found my calling. The fitness industry allowed me to combine my enthusiasm for health and wellbeing with my skills in sales and marketing.

Eight years of experience as Les Mills Nordic's account manager and in marketing has given me a deep insight into the possibilities of the fitness industry. The last four years with my family in Holland have broadened my perspective even more. They inspire me to bring a new way of thinking to the field of exercise and to create centers that ignite a passion for exercise and wellbeing. 

Fitness has had a profound impact on my own mental health and overall wellbeing, and I am dedicated to helping others experience the same benefits. At Fit Vallila, we believe in the power of fitness to transform your life—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Innovation is not just a buzzword for us; it's a way of life. I am passionate about developing new ways to enhance the fitness experience for our members and am committed to fostering an environment where everyone can achieve their best selves. Change is the only constant, and we are always ready to embrace it, both in business and in our personal journeys toward health and wellness.

Exercise is a way for me to recharge my batteries and find balance in everyday life. It is a moment when I can forget everything else and focus only on the now, on my body and on movement. Group training means more to me than just exercise, it brings people together and makes exercise fun and social.

I have been teaching classes for over 10 years and since 2018 I have been part of the LES MILLS NORDIC training team. It is important to me that every participant feels welcome and valued in my classes. I want to create an atmosphere where everyone can be themselves, push their limits and enjoy the energy of exercise - in their own way and at their own pace.

I am a lover of strength training, a sports advisor, personal trainer, street dancer and a multi-talent in the field of sports. Over the years I've gotten to move beginners, those with pain and limited mobility, health exercisers and goal-oriented trainers. As a coach, I can utilize my knowledge in a wide range of people, bringing out the best aspects of each person and turn weaknesses into strengths. I can get everyone to enjoy exercise, even if it wasn't of any interest to them before. I am humane and approachable and I want everyone to get the challenge or encouragement they need, because I believe that each of us can find a suitable and enjoyable way to move! Humor flourishes in my workouts and training is definitely not boring.

TINJA LEHTINEN

I am a people-oriented sports professional, physiotherapist and PhysioTrainer. I specialise in the integration of rehabilitation and exercise, as well as varied strength and mobility training. I am also trained in pelvic floor physiotherapy. I have 15 years of experience in group training, especially in dance.

I am interested in the psychophysical aspect of coaching and the importance of recovery, sleep, body awareness and breathing for overall well-being. As a coach, I value meaningful encounters and an individual approach. Moments that emphasise meeting the person as a whole, trust and shared understanding, and the client's own realisation, together with increasing a sense of empowerment. My strengths are definitely my empathy in guidance and counselling. I am motivated to find individual solutions for a more active daily life, which can support the ability to function in a promotive and preventive way, as needed, in relation to the goals.

Regardless of your fitness background or goals, I offer you tools for development with an inspiring attitude and a suitable challenge!

Joonas Levon

I have worked as a coach for more than 10 years in both individual and small group coaching. My clients have included athletes, business leaders and ordinary fitness enthusiasts, whose well-being and performance I have helped to develop. Currently, I work as a consultant and coach, focusing on occupational well-being and physical training. I train endurance athletes at the sports academy in the capital region, Urhea, and at the triathlon club. In addition, I guide different sports in my multi-sport club, as well as hold small group lessons related to power swimming and body control. Occasionally, I lead gymnastics and handstand courses and train coaches. In the past, I have also worked as a climbing and circus coach.

My work experience is diverse, and I bring the best teachings and practices to my coaching, tailoring the exercises to the needs of the participants. My teaching style is encouraging and professional, and I strive to create a positive atmosphere in the classes, where the participants can develop both physically and mentally. I myself actively practice several sports and enjoy learning new things, which is also reflected in my teaching. I have a master's degree in education with minors in physical education and psychology and a lecturer in health information. I am currently completing the YAMK degrees in sports management and sports coaching.

Exercise has played a central role throughout my life and after I started coaching I have found an even greater meaning for movement. I have many years of experience in teaching group training and I am an absolutely energetic, positive and inspiring instructor. I enjoy the opportunity to inspire customers, the fact that I can help them reach their goals and share together the emotions evoked by the training. There is nothing better than the feeling in the body and mind after the workout! My strength is in coaching groups, I think community creates the basis for successful training and it is important for me to create an inclusive and energizing atmosphere for my classes.
